Palito Perak is a Bukittinggi-born artist, born in 1987. His works are often inspired by social media and media coverage, using popular images and disguised issues to visualize ideas in his art. He also incorporates elements from popular paintings and historical archives to convey narratives in his works.
After graduating from Visual Communication Design, Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Yogyakarta, he actively participates in various exhibitions, with 2023 Art Jakarta Gardens at Hutan Kota by Plataran, 2022 REVVV at All Abouth Gallery Singapore, 2022 ARTJAKARTA at Ruci Art Space Jakarta, and 2020 Arisan Karya #1 at Museum MACAN Jakarta to name a notable few.
